Enjaz Foundation for Development- EFD is a local non-governmental organization which has been working in Yemen continuously since 2010, implementing programs that aim at emergency response in light of disasters and community development. Currently, Enjaz Foundation for Development is operational in 14 governorates (Al-Hodeidah, Hajjah, Ammran, Sana’a, Amanat Al Asimah, Ibb, Aden, Hadramawt, Dhamar, Sadah, Marib, Al Jawf, Lahjj, Marib, Taiz) among Yemen through direct implementation, providing emergency assistance and working on Enhancing citizens’ ability to face crises and prepare for them. EFD’s programming focuses on various sectors including Wash, sanitation and hygiene, food security, livelihoods, agriculture, education, health, economic empowerment, peace and conflict resolution. overall goal of EFD’s programming to save live/livelihoods and promote resilience and self-reliance. Enjaz Foundation for Development has a long history of working with international partners since 2010 in different sectors. It also seeks to empower youth and women economically, politically and socially.
