Enjaz Foundation for Development implemented a social protection project to provide social cohesion in vulnerable communities. The project included about 120 women and men (community leaders, local authorities, peace ambassadors, internally displaced persons, persons with disabilities, and youth group leaders) (40 beneficiaries per governorate). Targeted) The project will also target a total of 630 beneficiaries (50% male: 50% female), including displaced persons, marginalized groups, and people with disabilities (210 beneficiaries for each targeted governorate). The project focused on three outputs that were as follows:

  1. 1- Strengthening the capacity of local authorities and community leaders to address and respond to shocks, risks and conflicts through training.
  2. Restoring the livelihoods of targeted vulnerable Yemenis vocational skills training and business start-up grants (introduction).
  3. Increase the participation of women, youth and marginalized groups in community structures to strengthen local mechanisms for peacebuilding and social cohesion.
