With funding from the King Salman Centre.. a workshop was held to approve the establishment of peace committees in Hotat Lahj
With funding from the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, this Monday morning, the United Nations Development Program, in partnership with the Enjaz Foundation for Development, implemented a workshop to approve the establishment of peace committees in Al-Houta District, in the hall of Ibn Khaldun General Hospital.
This is where this workshop, which included ten male and female trainees from the people of Hotat Lahj, will be held for one day, and through this introductory workshop, the sessions of which were held this morning, a training course will be held in the coming days for these peace committees in which they will be trained in the field of peace and conflict resolution. This is so that they can, as peace committees, raise a disputed initiative or a faltering project in order to intervene in it and work to finance this type of initiative that is based on conflict resolution or has faltered on the part of the donor, represented by the King Salman Center, and for what would complete its services.
It is worth mentioning that these important and vital service projects funded by the King Salman Center and the implementation of the United Nations Development Program in partnership with the Injaz Foundation for Development is not the first project within the governorate in this field, but the Injaz Foundation for Development has implemented such an activity within an integrated project and Represented by the social protection project to provide community cohesion in Yemeni society.
